On Friday, January 29, 2027, Campus JAX proudly launches The Country Legends Series, presented by Cody Bryant — The King of Country Classics, with an inaugural celebration of the extraordinary music and legacy of Glen Campbell.
For this first chapter, Cody is joined by The Wichita Linemen for an evening devoted to the songs, musicianship and stories that made Campbell an icon.
And this is no ordinary tribute.
Behind the drums will be George Green, who actually played with Glen Campbell during the 1970s. His presence creates a direct musical connection to the era being celebrated and brings an authenticity to the evening that few Glen Campbell productions could ever offer.
At the center of it all is Cody Bryant, a gifted singer, guitarist, bandleader and lifelong student of classic country music whose remarkable command of the genre reaches across generations of legendary artists. Rather than impersonating Campbell, Cody and his band approach this music with something more meaningful: respect for the original sound, exceptional musicianship and a deep understanding of what made these songs endure.
Expect an evening that travels through the breadth of the Glen Campbell songbook—from the cinematic Jimmy Webb masterpieces and country classics to the crossover hits that made Campbell one of the most beloved entertainers of his generation.
