Join Los Angeles-based drummer, multi-instrumentalist/producer, and bandleader Shane Sato for an evening of modern jazz, soul, and R&B at Campus JAX in Costa Mesa on Thursday, September 24, 2026.

Born and raised in Orange County (Yorba Linda), Shane leads a dynamic five-piece band featuring some of Southern California's finest musicians and will perform music from his latest album, Wavelength, released in May 2026 on Mixto Records. Blending contemporary jazz improvisation, soulful grooves, and rich melodic storytelling, Wavelength explores connection and the shared frequencies that bring people together, featuring collaborations with artists such as Braxton Cook, Reuben James, and Nao Yoshioka. Shane and his band are excited to make their Orange County debut at Campus JAX—a full-circle moment as he returns home to share his music with both familiar faces and new friends.
